You said "he has more yards that the entire Steelers backfield"...now you break it down to average per rushes and how many long runs each player had. Pitt failed passing the ball and stopping the opposition......thus they failed to make the playoffs......that won't happen again, they will concentrate on the run and take the pressure off of big overrated Ben.

Now, the Saints.....they pass the ball 65% of the time......hell, in the super bowl they rushed for the fewest yards in history for a winning team.

They will continue to pass the ball and run as an afterthough. With that said.....why would I take that bet?

I swear you are the most annoying person I ever saw here. You are like the gimp or the sidekick or something. No one is talking to you but you have to get in your two cents.

While the Steelers will struggle to beat the Browns twice a season, the Saints will be in blowout after blowout and rest Thomas......he will never get the carries like Mendenhall. Speaking of which it took him 40 carries to break 100 yardsin two games against the Browns. The Saints don't have that many rush attempts in a month, let alone for one guy.

Pierre Thomas 7 rushes over 20 yards.

Mendenhall: 242 carries , 1108
Pierre Thomas 147, 793

You realize that Thomas would have to average 3.0 yards a carry on the next 100 carries to surpass all of menenhall's totals and will do it in half the games started?

You cannot use hypothetical stats in football, they simply do not translate. Either something happens, or it doesn't ESPECIALLY at the running back position because of all the variables that the ball carrier faces.

The Steelers suck and will need to run the ball late to beat the likes of the Browns and detroit........Saints will rest their starters for 3 quarters. You obviously failed math (as well as english I suspect) so this concept is foreign to you.
