Anyone that knows me knows I don't buy Bowman products. I'm not a prospector.

My brother, however not a prospector, LOVES to buy and open Bowman even though he doesn't even follow baseball (he's a compulsive gambler).

Well, I have come to find that I have amassed around 30 blasters ranging from the past couple of years under my bed -- all unsorted.

Well I decided to finally get out the boxes and start separating all of the chrome out and getting them alphabetized by player. While going through a blaster of 2008 Bowman... I find one chrome that is particularly thick feeling... I slide my finger along the edge and, what do you know? A chrome pops off the backside.

Re: Remember kinds -- ALWAYS check for stuck autographs.

i bought 10 packs of topps chrome at target about 5 years ago or maybe longer i cant remember exactly. One pack had 4 anthony lerew autographs stuck together inside. 2 refractors and 2 base. It was the craziest pack i ever opened. Too bad he is garbage.

LOL! Yeah... kids, too.

It's pretty OC. probably 35/65 or worse. Don't mind, though... I didn't buy it.
Does Topps do replacements for extremely OC cards?

Highly doubtful.

centering certainly isn't as bad as you can find in 08 draft. Almost all of Gutierrez's and Raben's cards are worse than that L/R and similar T/B

Nice find! I don't know what it is about blasters, but I had the same thing happen to me in 06 with Kershaw. I had two autos in one pack stuck together. It's never happened to me with a hobby box.

While sorting my base chromes from a case of 07 draft I found a David Price Xfractor :) Sent it in to BGS, got a 9.5, sold it for 104.99 about 2 months ago :D :D One just sold on ebay for 47

Nice find! I really like the look of Xfractors. Never pulled a nice one myself.

For all the junk talked about xfractors in the near past, they are getting better recently. They went from being really nice, to crap, to now back to getting nice again.

I had this happen once.I snagged a box of those random assortment of packs for like $20 at target and I had already sorted them and then put the no namers in my commons box to trade off and I was double checking through there one day and out pops an auto.It was still of a no namer but hey...I kept it!

Now I have to check the case of 2008 BCDP that I busted........

Need to see if there is a stuck Aflac Auto on one of the base cards.

I dont believe they were guaranteed but rather seeded on average 1 per 12 boxes. Most cases had 1, some had 0, and some had 2.

And the crazy part is that even if you kept all the packs and empty boxes, it still would NOT be worth sending it back to Topps for your AFLAC auto because they will probably send you a Nieto or Ferrara (not even worth your postage)!
