response I got from a seller for a damaged card I got

Is it just me, or are you pinching that card awfully hard? I mean it is practically cutting in to your fingers....?

And honestly, the sellers response does not sound harsh at all. Having said that, I personally would have just refunded you the money.

It's not a defect if this is normal for the card. I have 20 years worth of chrome cards, Bowman Chrome, Bowman's Best, Topps Chrome and Topps Finest, Etc. Most have a similar curve to them. It makes it easier for me to pick out my chrome cards from the non chrome cards. I have sold several cards which had the same "defect" for anywhere from $100 to $400 each. One of my buyers was so happy with his card, he had it graded by Beckett which graded it a BGS 9.5 and then sold it for $725. He is now a friend and buys cards directly from me.

Yes it is. Last I checked it's still a free country, though barely. I was looking for a discussion on the Xfractor printing defect that plagues some of the older xfractors.
