That's nice, too bad it's not a 24 jersey, I might be tempted to buy my first Rickey jersey! I still probably wouldn't do it, since the BIN is more than two of the three Jason Jennings jerseys set me back. And those are game used!

I can give you the number for the company to get it lettered.

Sorry I didn't realize that one was all jacked up. I'll fix it.

I read that early this morning, and it pissed me off enough to leave a comment. I never liked or hated Tim, but now I really don't like him. Total D-bag move on his part.

I was going to comment on your comment, but I need to watch the video first. I can't see it. From the readable parts though, dude is really bitter. I always like him, considered starting a collection but went with Vince Coleman instead. I still have that awesome collection of 15 base cards from the 80s. w00t! I don't really get the logic that Rickey was stealing bases for himself and not for the team, and look his team finished in 5th. It was a terrible team, the only way they could score runs was by having Rickey steal bases. I thought everybody knew that....

I had an awesome night last night, went to the Sky Sox game with my litte family and my sister. I caught a foul ball, the first time ever in dozens of trips to the ball park. It was great! I gave it to Renée and she was so happy, but the chick next to her started crying about it. I offered her the ball but luckily her mom said no. :D The Sox got creamed which I figured they would. But that's totally cool, I actually barely watched the game and mostly hung out and played. They have this huge inflatable slide and Renée went on it at least 20 times. She wasn't too impressed to see baseball live which was sad. She's a blast to watch it with at home, any time the bat makes contact with the ball she yells "RUN!!" even if it's a foul ball. And she'll randomly yell "Home Run!!" for no reason at all which is cute. Throw to first: Home Run!

If you can get it for $40 opening bid, cost of lettering is $35 for 100% authentic 2 and 3 color name and numbers like on field.

At 5am, I don't want to hear him bashing Rickey, saying he "could've" done all the same things. He didn't have the longevity, nor did he play on the same team/style of ballclub or managers Rickey did. His records helped win games. What is Rickey's WAR rating compared to Tim's?

Cocaine's a helluva drug!

I'm Tim Raines B!tch!! Seriously, Rock?...anyone find that a bizarre nickname for someone who probably smoked the rock at one point?

How many rings you got Tim? 1 as a part of the juggernaut 96 NYY...how'd you do in that WS? 3 measly singles in 14 ABs. Rickey had 19 hits in his 14 WS games, scoring 12 runs, hitting 0.339 and stealing 7 bases. Overall...33 SBs and 47 runs in 60 postseason games. And you? 3 SBs and 18 runs in 34 postseason games...and 3 times caught stealing! Way to show up in the big spots.

How many MVPs Tim? Oh, your stupid little All Star Game MVP? The highest you ever came in the voting was 5th. Rickey's got one, plus came in 2nd and 3rd in other years. Plus he has a Playoff MVP.

Gold gloves Tim? none. Just. shut. up. I used to like you, but you're misguided. Whatever....

I just wanted everyone to know that although I have searched high and low to get the authentic jerseys, I never wanted anyone to feel slighted. I don't care if you have a replica or authentic or nothing at all. I just want to try to educate you guys so you don't get ripped off. Some of you might not even care about getting any.....ever. I just try to post auctions I see if they are at a price I think is good. I do like that some people have asked about jerseys pr cards that have pieces that are questionable. I am not a pro, but I do have quite a bit of knowledge on the subject. I guess I'm like Dave. When I want to do something, I try to do the ultimate and find everything out about it. On a similar note, Mitchell & Ness asked on their FaceBook which Rickey jersey people wanted to be made first. They worded it a little different, but along those lines. This leads me to believe that they will be making more than one!

Got a couple cards in the mail today, and another on the way. Working on getting a couple others, but sellers aren't cooperating too well. Once we get everything unpacked and situated, I'll start on my Man Cave, or Rickey Room. Pictures will be posted, but it will be a while as we have a few vacations planned and I'll be working about 60+ hours a week. Time will be limited, but I will try to get it done soon.

Brian, I hope that I didn't inspire that. I don't feel bad that I don't have any Rickey jerseys what-so-ever. If I was into it, I could have picked up 100s of Sabathia jerseys over the years, they're really cheap on ebay. Well, there was this time when all the Indians fans threw their Sabathia jerseys on ebay anyway. It's been years since I shopped on ebay for Sabathia stuff, at least it seems that way. Anyway, I've only purchased 2 jerseys, they were Sabathia jerseys and Yankees (unfortunately) but one was size 6 MO and the other was a 2T. Baby clothes! I have a couple cool jerseys that I got in my previous life, they are both #24 and the lettering simply says "RL". I never ever wear them for one reason or another... I'm sure if I had any Rickey jerseys, they would suffer the same fate. Doomed to a life of hanging on a hanger in a closet and collecting dust.

I'm impressed with your knowledge in the area of Rickey jerseys, and I don't feel bad that I'm dumb and have 0 Rickey jerseys. :D

Loved the rant Leff. Tell us how you really feel, lol. Now that you mention it "Rock" is a funny nick name for a guy who's supposed to be really fast. Maybe that's how he really got the nick name, I know that tons of players were doing coke back in those days... but not Tim "Rock" Raines... he liked his rocked up.

Sorry, but I need to vote this the "Post of the Week"...Did you fall asleep on your keyboard?

** edit: removed. Sorry to mess things up...I don't know why that cracked me up so much... And then picturing you guys scrolling past it on a phone cracked me up even more...even though I felt a little guilty! Sorry!

Thank you so much for editing it. What a relief!

I'm sorry I said anything, I was just dismayed. I looked and thought "Nice, we made it past stupid page 102" and manoman the crushing disappointment that I felt when I saw your post... it was just overwhelming. I am genuinely happy it made you laugh though, instead of pissing you off. Thanks for being cool.

I don't know how that post happened, it wasn't like that at first, I'd swear to it. Only after a couple more posts were added did it grow to that extremely large mass of scrambled letters.

No, I just didn't want anyone to think I was trying to be an elitist. I appreciate any support of Rickey, whether it be an iron-on T or what. I just have seen many fake jerseys on eBay and other sites and I don't want you guys to get ripped off. Some guys are selling replica jerseys with decent lettering for authentic prices and some people are paying it. I have thought about getting an old Indians jersey and have it lettered 99 VAUGHN.

Yeah, originally it showed the screen shot, then all of a sudden nothing. I wouldn't have posted that it if didn't look right.

A few more weeks before Rickey arrives in Kansas City for the ASG festivities! So excited to see him at Fan Fest and then after (or before) the Celebrity Softball game on Sunday, July 8th!

I've never posted on FCB, nor did I even know I was a member until I tried and logged in. Someone suggested I put this card in this thread and see if I get any offers for it. I just unlocked it today and will have it delivered to me before I sell it.

PM me if interested.
