RYAN....private message me your address. I picked this card up and want to send you an early XMas present. I already have one, so this is just a duplicate for me. :P

Hey guys just thought i would see if anyone is interested in this before I put it on Ebay. I bought it a couple years ago on ebay when i was collecting jerseys. One of the last ones I have but it has just been hanging out in a box so I thought maybe someone else would enjoy it. Its never been worn and that may be because its a XXL. Just make me an offer if your interested.

Nice cards Leffer looks like you are putting a good dent in the 2011 cards.

Since I no longer have the time to upload individual photos of good individual mail days...I'll just do it all at once. Some 2011 recent pickups to share:

Red (#/36) on top(or right), Emerald (#/18) in the middle row, Sepia (#/27) on the bottom (or left). If anyone has extras of the ones I still need, let me know. I also have a 2011 Leaf Cut Signature Dual Auto with Stan Musial (#/7) coming to me in the mail. Woohoo!

Leffer you have to move the card on the right over to the left so you complete the baseball diamond in the back ground.
I just got the middle one in the mail yesterday to complete my red set. That's probably all I should do for now since I don't have the funds to get all the other series.

I shot you a PM with my adress. Thank you for your generosity towards this undeserving wretch. :D

WoW that's deep, I never would have noticed that. Pretty impressive the amount of thought Topps put into that design! I know, I know... it's only from years and years of lowered expectations, but... still nice to see.

I thought "Unity" meant there was a Dave Chappelle/Rick James card in the set with game-worn pieces of cocaine-laced dreadlocks and red leather pants. (For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, go search for Chappelle's Rick James imitation on the internet).

I didn't notice the baseball diamonds either. Will switch. Thx. And, yes Alyssa 2.0 is going to be interesting, but hopefully I have a little bit of time between now and then.

I can't compete with the other pick-ups posted recently, but I have been able to add a few interesting cards to the collection in the past few weeks:

I've been trying to track down the 2000 Topps MVP Promotion forever, and was finally able to snag one at a reasonable price. The 1999 Invincible is a Red parallel, that I didn't even know existed, as Beckett doesn't list it for some reason. The 2003 Topps Chrome is the Black Reractor #/199. I think set collectors go after these a lot, as they never seem to surface! Finally, is the oddball of the lot, which was listed as a 1999/2000 Venenzuelan issue. I don't know much about it, and it was listed forever as a BIN, so I finally used my eBay Bucks last month to pick it up for free.

Now that's a nice card! If Larry doesn't have it, you know it's hard to find!

Scott, your Christmas present arrived, thank you again! My wife took it before I could open it and said I could open it on Rickey's birthday. At least that way I get something!

So we're in Arkansas for our annual Thanksgiving trip. I'll be playing in the woods a lot and checking FCB very little. I'm sure you'll all miss me, but... Have a great Thanksgiving!

I'm 99.9% sure Rickey was not included in this release. My question is how did one come up with the Topps hologram and certified stickers? Would be nice if Topps had a database for the hologram numbers. Isn't that the reason behind having them numbered? I would think so. Card in question is [ebay:3h7wr65q]260903886690[/ebay:3h7wr65q].

I love the Originals set and you are correct, the checklist doesn't include 1 Rickey card.

Yeah, I always think that one's fake, every time it's on ebay. What's the deal with that? This card has changed hands like a dozen times...

Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was awesome, played in the forest all week and didn't get injured once. Way better than last year. I did get a little bit of the flu which wasn't cool, but... survivable. The really bad part was that on the trip home while I was sleeping somehow my phone got wet and doesn't work. I had to revert to using my old phone, which is really really lame. Ah well...

Now I have a weeks worth of work to catch up on. Have a great day!

Probably is a legit auto, but the hand numbering isn't, as well as the case and labeling and sticker are junk. There have been many fakes of that set, so I can totally see someone having him sign a card, and then trying to flip the scam card for big dough to one of us!

I concur. Dave Eich is extremely awesome. He's a busy guy, but one of the best traders and Rickey collectors I've ever dealt with. (right up there with ken of course). :)
