Probably is a legit auto, but the hand numbering isn't, as well as the case and labeling and sticker are junk. There have been many fakes of that set, so I can totally see someone having him sign a card, and then trying to flip the scam card for big dough to one of us!

Did you guys see where this one ended up? $910 :o I, um, well, wow. Just wow.

Not sure why I just thought of this, but when we were talking about the Star promos.....I thought I bought some from Scott, but it was DWSacks? I'm not 100% on the name, but he was on eBay all the time.

I don't know exactly who that is, but I know him well enough to know that it's David W Sacks. I'm 1000% sure that I've purchased from him or traded with him or something....

I gotta agree with Leff, Ken is a super great trader. :D

And now I'll make my monthly public apology for being a terrible trader.

I'm sorry.

I can't believe that "Originals" sold for that much! If you were going to pay that much for a card, wouldn't you at least check to see if the player was actually in the set!

On a more positive note, I got these two in a few days ago. It's the "Hope Diamond" parallel #/60, as well as the 2010 T-206 Polar Bear variation, which I've been attempting to track down forever:

The three T-206 parallels look awesome together!

I concur. Dave Eich is extremely awesome. He's a busy guy, but one of the best traders and Rickey collectors I've ever dealt with. (right up there with ken of course). :)

 aww shucks. Thanks Scott & Ryan. I have traded with just about everyone here, and feel we have a great group of guys who help each other out. The other 2 guys who are great to trade with, but dont venture here, are Dave Eich & George Chernisky.

Brad, I cant believe another Old Mill has not showed its face. Are you sure it is not a 1/1?

I've seen more than one Old Mill of other players, but not of Rickey. I would think if Old Mill was 1/1 for one player it would be for all players?

I've heard from other player collectors thamt more than one exist, but it could vary by player? I e-mailed Topps about estimated print runs, but of course never heard back. I picked this up on Beckett, so it is pretty amazing that one has never hit eBay.

I've never seen one...

Brad, you should make a post on your blog about it. Or about something! I don't check it as much as I used to, because there's nothing to read. I'm sure you've been too busy with real life, but c'mon, I have some pretty boring days at work and need something to read!

Just had a fun drive to work, slippery as a **** out there. Weeeeee! My feet are still frozen and I've been at work almost an hour. I don't love the snow.

Okay Ryan, I'll make you a deal. I'll put up something new when we complete our trade, lol! Coincidentally, I e-mailed you about it last night :)

Hey guys, figured we could have a little fun. How about everyone posts what 1 card is the one on your wishlist, that you have never seen, or is your white whale.

That sounds like an excellent idea! I can do ya 1 better, or actually... 2 better!

Jason Jennings... I've got this set:

2003 Leaf Certified Materials Mirror Black Materials Jsy 60 #01/01
2003 Leaf Certified Materials Mirror Blue Materials Jsy 60 #001/100
2003 Leaf Certified Materials Mirror Emerald Materials Jsy 60 #03/05
2003 Leaf Certified Materials Mirror Gold Materials Jsy 60 #01/25
2003 Leaf Certified Materials Mirror Red Materials Jsy 60 #001/250

If only I could find #01/05, what a great set that would be. I have officially given up though.

CC Sabathia... Missing Button:

2005 Leaf Limited Threads Button 146 #1/5 & #2/5 & #3/5 & #4/5... and those are the only ones I have. ;)

And Rickey... instead of just saying "77 Chong" which is probably the real answer to the question, I gave it a little thought.... It was tough, but I'm going with this one:

2004 D Classics Classic Combos Bat w/D.Mattingly/ 11 #24/50
2004 D Classics Classic Combos Jersey w/D.Mattingly/ 11 #24/50
2004 D Classics Classic Combos Quad D.Mattingly 11 #01/25 & #16/25
2004 D Classics Classic Singles Bat 15 #24/50
2004 D Classics Classic Singles Jersey 15 #24/25
2004 D Classics Classic Singles Jersey-Bat 15 #24/25

If I could find #24/25, I'd probably be willing to trade #01 & #16 for it. It's really hard being me though, because my white whales aren't just #/5 or #/25, but a specific # out of the print run, making it a 1/1. 1/1's are tough... are they in a pack in a box in a case in a warehouse? Or... even worse... at the bottom of some kids toybox? Destroyed in a hurricane? At the dump already? OK... I gotta quit thinking about it!

So, I got a new phone. It sucks because it isn't as nice as my old phone. I hooked my emails up and bam... 62 emails poured in. I saw yours Brad, and I'm inspired! I need those 24's!!!!!!

Did I miss something with this card? Isn't it a regular SP that should be $2-3?

No, I don't think it's you. That's just crazy! I also couldn't believe how much the 1986 General Mills pack recently sold for. I would have guessed $40, maybe $50 max, but it went for $85+
