I have some huge news about a monumental item for my collection! I have to do a few things before this is for sure. It's gonna take about 6 months, but it will be HUGE! I'll love my signed M&N jersey and it will be the centerpiece of my collection until I get this!

Looking forward to an exciting Monday! Instead of doing boring stuff like work, we're going to a "meeting" at the local AAA stadium, wink wink, we have to listen to insurance stuff for an hour before hand while we eat free food (and we even got a ticket for a free beer!) but then we get to watch the game and have fun. It's going to be great! I mean, even if it rains and the Sky Sox get beat 20-1, it will be better than sitting at work!

Okay, sorry guys, I apologize for being MIA on the thread lately. Once I finished with school, I had high hopes of spending more time with the collection. But, somehow, the exact opposite has happened, as I now find with less time then before. I have been horrible with trades, which I'm usually pretty good with, and I know there's even some e-mails I'm way behind in responding too. I'll try and figure out where I am with these trades, so we can get things going.

New pickups. 1991 Star Home Run Promo. **Paid for a 1991 Stellar Promo and All Star Promo but the guy sold the All Star. Said he's looking for another before he refunds my money. Then the only other Star card I will need is the 92-93. 1995 Select Artist's Proof, 1995 Collector's Choice Gold Signature. For some reason I never was able to find this. I could get all the silvers I wanted, but never a gold. Then they started popping up on eBay for about $8. If there was just one I might have done it, then some listed at .99! So I grabbed this for $1.25. Had the 1991 Topps Gallery Aluminum (left), but recently picked up the pewter (right) for $10. Darker than the picture shows and decently heavy. Working on getting the bronze too.

So an update on the BIG addition. It will involve this:

I messaged Walt and asked if he could point me in the right direction to get this signed by the other players. He said his friends handle Ryan and Aaron. I have to send it to him and pay Rickey's fee, and give him about 6 months to return it signed by all 4!
