Who is manofsteal939 on eBay selling all the nice Hendersons? I can't sell my nice ones if you flood the market with them all at once.

I wondered too. Didn't know there was another Rickey collector in Ohio.

Trying to understand why a unopened 1980 topps wax box costs $300-$600 when the Henderson would only get $12-$30 ungraded and you probably only get 1 or 2 at the most. Even then the chances of getting a psa 10 are slim to none and you could get a psa 9 for about $300. There are a few other cards in there too but not much.

There isn't much logic to most 70s-early 80s wax in any sport. It def makes more sense to buy singles but its the nostalgia of the old stuff and not a lot unopened left. A few years ago I did a deal where I ended up w a 80 Topps box and a 89 Score FB box, I ended up opening then just cuz. I got one Henderson in the Topps. I wasn't in it anywhere near the 300-600 but I coulda done better selling the box over opening, but it was a trip down memory lane I guess.

Not me.

Did find out that Rickey will be at Field of Dreams in September. Kent knows too and I think we are both attending.

Yep! Surprising the boys with a little road trip. Should be a blast.

Thanks for letting me win the 1997 Pinnacle Inside Diamond Edition, at $40 I think I made like Rickey. Frank Thomas was at $77 and I thought I saw Canseco $100 +.

Does anyone know the print run?
