Wait a minute... Rickey is somehow on the front AND the back of that cello pack??!?!? AND there was a "look for Rickey rookie" promotion on the cello pack itself??? Is this a homemade item??? (cuz that seems crazy that would have happened in real life)

A brand new custom pack I had designed and commissioned. Pretty awesome, eh?

A few facts:

* the pack is 100% custom made [emoji102]
* custom designed Super-Pack label sticker with RH wording (zoom in)
* real card front is an oversized 2022 Topps box topper
* filler cardboard and “gum”
* back is scanned photo of box topper back
* pictured below is a real 1980 Super-Pack, you can see its totally different!

Minor milestone today... I got my 50th Rickey that is a "One-of-One". Its this 24 Leaf Metal Pre-Production Proof Prismatic Black.

Very sad news indeed. I've been hearing about Rickey since he played for the Jersey City Indians (in my hometown) when I was just a child - and he's been a star basically since then, in my world. His passing is a real loss to the game of baseball. Not only one of the great characters of the game, but one of its best players. Rest in peace, Rickey.
