OK, I've been out of the card "world" for a little while, plus I took a break from the whole collecting thing and I've never been much of a football guy, bt I was wanting to know who "won the license to produce the right for FB cards.

I did some research, but I found conflicting info....some said Panini, some said Panini & UD. Whats the deal fella?

Thanks.

Starting next year, Topps is Out of the football card licensing, with UD and Panini, which now owns Doruss/Playoff still in.

Sounds like Panini might be the way to go, except for maybe 2 or 3 sets from UD (it kinda hurt a little bit to say that), such as SP Authentic and Exquisite.

What dos everyone else think?

I think that assessment is just about spot on.
Don't want to be wasting money on products like sp signature ::facepalm::

No, SP Sig was a sticker dump by UD. There are some nice autos in there, but the majority of them are complete garbage.

That's why I called it a sticker dump, they have autos of players who aren't even in the league anymore, like you mentioned.

Fixed it for ya.

Yeah, SP Signature has already sown up "Worst Product of the Year", but SP Authentic looks promising, with more auto patches than in the past.
