Sad, but I guess I was not overly surprised either, given lopes seems to have been absent from the scene for a bit. I have seen the infield items singed by all but Lopes more frequently in the last 6-12 months than ever before, so i figured he was having issues.
The first one from the famous Dodgers IF to go. It reminds you just how old you are when the active guys from your childhood cards are dying at a quick pace. I am especially curious just how many players featured in the 1978 Topps set are now dead. We are coming up on that set being 50 years old, so you figure the youngest guys are maybe 65-67 years old now. Damn!!
