After completing the triple signed 1982 Topps rookie card I wanted to grab other early Ripken cards to get signed. I picked up the 1982 Traded raw. The 1981 TCMA and WTF issues were slabbed by PSA & BGS. They were signed by Cal at his most recent private signing through Ironclad Authentics and received today! I love these cards!

Congratulations. Very nice.

Now all you need to do is complete the simple task of getting a Blue and a Orange Charlotte card signed.

Thank you for sharing.

A few years ago I was on the brink of grabbing another orange Police issue. I had just purchased a copy and could not convince myself to grab another one. Considering what it sold for I now regret it. At that point my thinking was that it would be amazing to have a signed copy but I talked myself out of it. Since that point there is no way I will ever see a copy of that card drop for under $1,000. I do hope to grab a WBTV at some point to get signed as well as the 1982 Donruss and Fleer issues to go along with this:

Can anybody have something signed? When is the next one? How much?

Cal holds several signings through Ironclad Authentics (www.ironcladauthentics.com) during the year. The price varies according to what you are having signed. The signing is open to everyone. I have had several things signed through Ironclad over the years and they always do a fantastic job. Everything signed is given holograms from Ironclad and MLB.

Keep checking the site as they will post the next scheduled signing. You can also get on an e-mail mailing list and will receive an announcement on the next signing as the date is scheduled. LMK if I can answer any additional questions.

Thanks for the response. How much to have a card signed?

I would have to check to be 100% but a small flat such as a trading card is around $125 for the sig without an inscription if my memory is right. When you purchase the right to get something signed Ironclad will have Cal sign it the way you want (pen/sharpie, color, etc.). When I had the 1982 Topps triple card signed they even offered to take pictures of Cal signing it if I sent a disposable camera but I couldn't get the camera there in time. I got delayed in sending these cards to him. I wish I would've sent a camera and had a picture of him posing with the cards for a picture on my site. I hope to interview him next year for the 30th anniversary of his 1981 issues and a picture of him with the cards would've been a nice addition.
