Nice cards guys - you're all about the prospects. I will post a few of my favorite pickups since this thread died off a while back....

And these don't even include the Schmidts and Carltons because they are not scanned. I'm at a point with my PC that I'm tired of the current products chugging out the same stuff every year, so I think I'm cutting my collection off at 2011 and only purchasing from prior years at this point - unless I see something absolutely amazing catch my eye.

I know a lot of you aren't about prsopects... here in Florida, I see prospects during spring training all the time, then I go to a lot of Clearwater Thershers games from April to September, so I see a lot of these kids come through here... that's what interests me more, plus I like playing the Phillies stock market. Made about a grand when Worley hit it big time, and what's even cooler is that I'm getting to know these guys outside of the baseball field... 4 guys in the Phils system and one guy currently in Japan who was in the Phils know me (not from stalking them... from my relationship with Scott Mathieson, essentially, and I'm developing relationships with them)... which is really cool for both me and my son.

Soooo... as much as I love the big guys - a little swatch of jersey -- even a patch -- on a card just doesn't do it for me. I like grabbing as many of the kids cards as I can get, rooting them on, selling the cards off when they get hot, and then doing it again with another kid....(wow that last part sounded Sandusky-esque...)
