This maybe a stupid question but since I have never seen one in person...is the 1/1 wood actually printed on a piece of wood?

This maybe a stupid question but since I have never seen one in person...is the 1/1 wood actually printed on a piece of wood?

It is definitely like wood. The card is very think and has a bit of a curve in it. Weighs more than the others too.

This just arrived today in the mail. It is my 3rd Printing Plate of this variety so I only need 1 more of this kind. A special thanks to 2 fellow members vwnut13 and hofmichael who directed me over to the Blowout Boards to locate this card.

It was damaged so I returned it and picked up another version thankfully. I guess I need to rescan my new one.

I now know there are at least 3 versions of each white whale printing plate.

This just arrived today

I now have 7 different of card 9XNLAS (I still need a printing plate and the wood)
I now have 7 different of card 342HRS (I still need 2 printing plates)
I now have 4 different of card 5STRGHTGOLDEN ( I still need the blue /3 and all 4 printing plates)

At least I am making progress. I need member archiebunkerjr to part with his printing plate at some point. I have been unable to get a favorable response from him.

VERY nice work on the Santos! O'Neill is listed as having 3 versions this in 2011 TTT. So I'll embark on a similar quest this July. Seeing your progress gives me hope.
