Keeping the Albers in the PC with the rest of the '52 autos. It is the second one I have seen since I started collecting the set in early 2007.

Those red foil SM autos are so nice! For some reason, I really want to start doing the Topps Traded auto sets. I just love how astronomical the odds are of even pulling a scrub auto. I would be willing to bet that quite a few of the Red Foils slipped by without sellers eved realizing that they were serial numbered.

pulled or ebay?

I have seen the range on ebay now from $900 to $1655, mostly around $1200, but see the number starting to drop.
I am planning on picking one up in about 6 mos.

Can you tell me what all the rookies are in that set that are the same year as the player's key card? I know many of them say rookie on the card that aren't really their rookie...i am just looking for players that is their first year card? Any other big name players besides Lincecum?

The Topps '52 is a 2007 card, just like his Bowman auto. Lincecum is a Group B short print, with less than 100 copies. I have probably seen ~20 or 25 blue autos total since the product launched in 07. I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe the rest of the hobby will realize how tough these cards are. One is on ebay right now - you can usually grab these for about $100 or less, which I think is a bargain considering that there are thousands of Bowman Chrome autos, and about 150 (even including the red parallel /52) of the Topps '52.

I may or may not have an extra Lincecum available - I just really don't want to move it for the time being!

And did somebody say Albers?

What year were the topps 52? Is that the same year as his chrome ref autos?
I never got why these sell so reasonable...I should pick up a few.

Neither, card/cash trade on another board. The trader was very reasonable, so I picked it up at a nice price, definitely towards the lower end of the price scale.
