Anyone else watching this guy? He has been on a heck of run recently since getting the starting job back. Obviously not a prospect anymore but I think he is going to stick as a top to middle of the rotation starter for a long time.

still dont get how he is still a Nat. I guess they must be keeping him for when Strasburg gets shut down. There has got a to be a market for him out there.

I think his value to the Nats far exceeds what they would get in a trade for him. Sucks for him this year because he's gotten jobbed by having to be in AAA, and he's a legitimate replacement-level starter in the majors that would be in the back end of a lot of pitching rotations. Nats have control of him for '13 as well... if he does light it up as a Strasburg-replacement and pitches well in the postseason, then you might see him bring enough value to warrant a trade.

ahh, thats what i thought but wasnt sure. i completely agree. i want them to keep him and him to have a successful career here. I was strictly talking about card value.

Started picking up some of his stuff the last two years (for cheap) after seeing him here in Syracuse. His stats were nothing special, but at times he was unhittable. Hope he's putting it all together now!!

yeah, i bought a bunch of chromes, sterlings,and elites for around $2-$3 each a few months ago. I wish i had picked up some more.
