I haven't been paying attention to this contest....did ECC lose at some point or did he not join?

No, he has not lost. As described in the original post, this round is just for the loser's bracket (those with one loss), as it is playing catchup to the winner's bracket (with double elimination, those with one loss go through more rounds than those without losses). The winner's bracket resumes in two rounds.

The brackets are also posted in the original post, if you would like to see for yourself.

I know he didnt lose.The thought of him losing made me put the :?

Looks like I'll be bowing out this round, which is just fine (thanks to Luc and Chad, I wasn't skunked! :lol: ). I want to thank each and every one of you who took the time to look over our collections and participate in the vote. It's obvious to all that a lot of determination and effort has gone into these collections, and it has truly been a pleasure to show them off. To those that wrote a blurb about the collections they were voting on, thanks for that. I don't think there's a one of us here that doesn't like nice things being said about their collection.

Good luck in the future rounds - as they go on, it's going to be way harder to make a choice. May have to go the Zan route and start flipping coins!
