Maybe Leaf will hire Howard Shum for the next set to make you guys happy.

BINGO, you just hit the nail on the head!
Have someone of this caliber do a handful of them, 10-15 cards total, make collectors chase after a Shum sketch as opposed to open the pack and pray you don't get a Tempy sketch. Look at Mars Attacks for crying out loud! You have some that are definitely not as high quality as a Charles Hall sketch, but look what Charles Hall sketches bring! Collectors chase Charles Hall sketches or Sean Pence like baseball collectors are going after Trout. If you can't do the sketch card concept right, keep it out of the product!

These are just awful. Plain and simple. I love a well-done sketch card, and I can also understand when an artist goes "outside the box" and does something a little different. These aren't outside the box. They're childish and barf worthy.

Oh yes, his "Artist Return" Sketches are great! Those are the ones that Topps sends back to the artist so they can sell them personally.

He puts a ton of effort into those.
