Bye bye Russell :? Sad to see him go. Wish him the best of luck as a Yankee. On another note, Yankee fans please take a look at my bucket, all his stuff is up for grabs.

List your stuff now, with buy it now prices. That way you control the price-if you don't get adequate offers, you are in no hurry to sell them, really. Fixed price listings cost a whopping $0.05 per month. So, it makes it an easy choice. There will certainly be people right now looking for his stuff-by keeping it off eBay you are only losing out on possible sales.

Furthermore, there is no guarantee Martin is even going to start. He was pretty bad in LA last year, and he isn't going to be given any PT in New York without earning it-in my opinion. I just think with a guy coming off a poor year, and an injury, people are jumping the gun when it comes to PT in New York. He isn't good enough, at this point in his career, to be just given the job. There is a decent amount of uncertainty regarding him.

to paraphrase bill simmons: the yankees offseason moves could be summarized as: signed a washed up catcher and a washed up shortstop.
The only problem with that is that the shortstop isnt washed up and the catcher is coming off an injury.

Martin was pretty much done before the injury, see my previous post.

Well, he threw out 39% base stealers last year. The Yankees desperately need a solid catcher behind the plate.

I hate washed up catchers.

bumping old, irrelevant stuff = annoying

Sorry it's not a thread about a store
or some wonderful pulls that came out of it

But a post from dec 2010 where alot of knowledgeable people stated that Martin was done
is not old & it is relevant as it is about baseball and this is a baseball forum

sorry to be annoying
