I'd tend to agree, however, with all the moves SF and LA are making, the DBacks need to do something to look like they're keeping up and I believe it will be trading Upton.

Does it make the most sense in the world? No, but if they get a solid deal, why not take it?

Upton has been called out more than a few times by management for his attitude and play and I think Towers does not want to have him around long enough to morph into BJ version 2
