That would be Jody Davis. He used to ride with Sandberg to the ballpark every day during the 1984/85 seasons. (tying it in with the Sandberg theme of this thread!!)

My Sandberg collection. Can't wait til the mail runs today as I just bought 90+ Sandberg cards off a collector. Most are GU and Autos with some awesome inserts thrown in. They are supposed to come in today! Will scan and add when they do.

I'm proud of my collection, but seeing your and James52411's GU and Auto collection puts mine to shame. I've never focused my collection on his GU and Auto stuff, but I may need to start.

Barry Colla made a bunch of player sets in the early 1990s of stars like Ryno. I am not sure what set these specifically are from, but that is what they are. Some of them are pretty nice and even had MLB licensing.

This is a really big addition to my Sandberg collection. I've wanted one of these for a few years and was fortunate to snap it up on a Best Offer when it appeared on eBay a week ago...

I've wanted the card because it's brother is perhaps the key card in my modern Banks GU/AU collection...

9. The 1991 Signature Series autograph in beautiful shape

7. I am a huge fan of Dufex cards and would love to have all the old Pinnacle sets. Here is my favorite Sandberg museum collection card from 1997

6. 2001 Topps Archives autograph

5. 2004 SP Patch autograph dual patch

4. 2004 Topps Originals '84 autograph. 1984 was the year Ryno led the Cubs to the playoffs for the first time since 1945 and he won the MVP for his efforts.

3. 2005 UD Ultimate Signature Sandberg/Dawson autograph

2. 2005 Upper Deck Sweet Spot Autograph Game Used Bat Barrel /10

1. 2008 UD Ultimate Collection autograph /15. Four great Cubs from the 1980s...

Bought them all in a lot from a fellow Sandberg collector who has fallen on hard times. They came in last week. Again...still more to scan!

All but a few really high end that he had already sold before I got to him. I know the guy he sold them to so I may try to slowly try to buy them as well.
