I sold a Jason Heyward 2007 Bowman Chrome Draft blue refractor to bluedevilfan2009 on 4/5. He has not paid, responded to invoices, or responded to my attempts to communicate with him at all. He simply hit the BIN and disappeared. He's won items since and paid so I know he's getting my messages. He is also currently selling a Jason Heyward 2008 Chrome auto and I'm going to assume that the buyer will not get the card. If you do business with this guy you're taking a serious risk.

well, whenever you make a thread about buying and I post things I want to sell, you either completely ignore me or ask a price and when I give you a price you completely ignore me

My bad bro, I would have simply overlooked it because that's not like me. However, I do state in my threads that if you send a price that's over ebay it will be ignored. Luckily I've got some pretty well respected members here that can vouch for my character. If you've got some prospects to sell at or below ebay prices then send me a list because I'm still buying. My apologies for overlooking your response but I'm pretty sure you could have handled this with a PM.

while im sure your guy is a true ******, i've been in a situation where ive had some cases opened on me simply because my ebay checkout didnt group everything i'd won together for one paypal payment thereby making me think i'd paid for it.

the moral of the story: not all non-paying buyers are deliberately difficult.

I always click on the "require immediate payment with BIN" option.

Sounds like you should do the same.

It still tells you at the top of the screen that you have unpaid items.

I've sent him 3 invoices, 3 additional messages, and he's been buying stuff in the time I've been sending these messages. There is no way he could overlook all of them.

Relist. Move on.

I understand you won't get the crazy Heyward prices from that day, but you won't have the stress.

That's exactly what I plan to do, but the point of the thread was to warn others about the guy.

What I'm saying is if he won't pay for an item then I would sure be hesitant to send him $200 for a Heyward auto. Are you still confused?

I wouldn't care if the guy needed a month to pay, I just wish he would let me know. It's the refusal to respond that really sucks.

Not to be a dick, but if in 9 days, I received 3 invoices and 3 additional messages from a seller I would probably ignore it also. Also, do you state in your auction how quickly payment is expected?

eBay policy requires you to pay within 7 days, which means the buyer is already not following the policy they AGREED to, so why would it matter if he states how quickly payment is expected?

And if you got 3 invoices and 3 messages in 9 days and you were winning (and paying for) other auctions, why would you ignore the prior auction?

I don't think eBay policy says anything about how fast you can require payment or have to pay for an item. They may not let you start a NPB until a certain day, but that doesn't mean you have to require payment in that amount of time. I have seen many sellers that state 10-14 days, does that mean those sellers are breaking the policy?

I just don't see what messaging the person (either invoice or email) every day and a half does.
