Santana rumor... please tell me it is a joke

My friend is at the STL NYM spring training game... Rumor is Santana broke something on his last pitch of the 3rd inning... he fell over in pain and was rushed off the field grimmacing and holding his arm...I thought he was full of it but just checked box score and santana was pulled after 3... someone please tell me this is a lie.

Can you imagine if a team actually played a joke like this? Star player fakes an injury in a ST game, trainers sell it, and someone leaks a devastating injury to a reporter, then after a few hours they hold a press conference where they all come out and take a bow.

That would be epic.

Because Spring Training is coming to a close. If he's ready, why risk an injury with leaving him out there in a game that doesn't matter. He got his work in and they pulled him.
