Dave - after fees, what can you really sell them for?

Paid $10.98 x 6 = $65.98 + $4.12 tax = $70.10
List $120.00 + $5.00 S&H = $125.00
Even if I only profit $45.00 after fees, I'll be happy with it.

People are seriously willing to pay $20 for these things?

That's about the going rate shipped.

People are dumber than I thought... :lol:

They are pretty much paying the list price ($14.95) and the shipping cost @ $20.
Never mind you can by them at a Wal-mart for $10.

It's all about the availability, or lack of, in certain areas and the hype of what's being pulled.
I've seen multiple posts on multiple boards (Russ is a prime example) of insane cards being pulled from these.
Hell, there's even been speculation that the Harper superfractor could be in one.
This is the hype I'm trying to capitalize on.

Prime Example:

Gas went up to $3.95 in my town yesterday. There are 2 "rip-off" stations that are always first to up, last to come down.
So while they went up first, everywhere else in town was $3.82 for the entire rest of the day, including 1 station across the street from the "rip-offs".

Yet what do I see?

At least 5 cars at the pumps of the "rip-offs" paying $3.95... ::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: ::facepalm::

man that's a pretty looking auto set though. has to be topps nicest looking ones in my opinion. clean.. on card huge auto's. almost upperdeck-esk. but really.... why would griffey be a redemption? even edgar martinez auto's are going for double what others go for at the moment. crazy

This is crazy.. my post about receiving the buyback from the guy set off a frenzy of sort in that thread but also my PM box is blowing up like it never has before with guys wanting to know what I paid so they can try to gauge what they will need to pay
