Interesting encounter with a semi-celebrity yesterday at the lcs. Anyone who watches Storage Wars will remember Dave Hester (Yuuuuuppp). He actually came in yesterday, wearing the Yuuuppp hat, shirt, etc. He wanted to get an appraisal on some stuff he found in a storage unit. Some nice auto'd memorabilia and some cool 70's football cards, plus a really nice ball/photo collection. I didn't ask him much about the show as he is in the middle of a lawsuit against it and I figured he wouldn't want to talk about the show.

I told him I liked seeing him on the show, but left it at that. He was pretty nice and it was odd to see someone you've seen on tv in real life, and actually "in costume." I wish I would have gotten his auto, though.

I was on a college visit about a year ago and we saw a guy with a "Yuuuup" shirt. We had to tell him that it was awesome.

I haven't watched the show in a long while. With Hester's lawsuit, and Balelo's death, it just isn't really worth watching.

my ears are still recovering from last nights Hinder concert.. we were front row stage which is a first for me and it was definately much louder than I'm used to. great show for the $26 ticket! I'm getting ready now to get the last few things I need for the pups because we are picking them up finally today!! everyone here is excited to say the least!!!!

I did the stay at home gig for a while. Enjoy it.

I stayed at home with my second son for 15 weeks after my wife went back to work and used vacation and parental leave benefits. This time though it's unpaid leave. Worked out to be a better option than having two kids in fulltime daycare, plus I get some father-son time with my 3 and 1 year old sons while my daughter is in kindergarten.

I plan to spend my hobby time organizing and scanning my Olerud PC, and maybe listing a bunch of low-end inserts and base cards on Sportlots.
