saw a Moose in Yellowstone 1974 , I've seen deer in neighbor hood but NEVER in my yard , coyotes got so bad near here they hired a hunter = killed over 100 . Black bears common , Have my share of black snakes .Barry, I like going out for rides on dirt roads in the middle of no where around New England. No traffic and no people. A lot of times my gps shows me out in no where. Not even on a road at all. I saw a female moose walking down a dirt road in western Massachusetts a few months ago. They're huge.
Over the past 2 years we've had a couple of red fox and coyotes in our yard that I've seen. While out on some of my longer rides around Massachusetts and New Hampshire I've seen a fisher cat and a young black bear. I thought I saw a bob cat too. I did see a doe and a very young fawn. It still had the umbilical cord. So I guess it was only a couple of days old. This state did away with their leg hold trapping law. Now people are whining their precious little cats and little dogs go missing.saw a Moose in Yellowstone 1974 , I've seen deer in neighbor hood but NEVER in my yard , coyotes got so bad near here they hired a hunter = killed over 100 .
