Morning Kids.
Nothing much planned for the day.

Got the word late yesterday afternoon that my grandmother passed.
So glad I made it down to Florida last week when I did. Got some real quality time with here before the Morphine messed with her mind.
She'll be missed.

Good morning!

Russ- sorry to hear about your grandmother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. That is great that you got to see her. :grouphug:

Dave- I wasn't aware of your "work" status either. Learn something new everyday  Love the Pirates shelf!!

Good Morning! Add me to the "coffee's on so all's well" club. The sweet beeping just went off so I'm waiting only until I finish this post to pour...

Scott - glad you're feeling better!

Michael - congrats on getting the Griffeys in hand! And love the Brock! I've long toyed with the notion of collecting ONLY those sweet spot autos.

Russ - very sorry about your grandmother. I echo the others in their condolences. So glad you got to see her last week. :grouphug:

First Tigers game (for me) today. It's a 4:05 game; getting out there earlier to hit up a local bar for some beers/eats (wife will drive us home) and then it's off to the game. While I'm loyal to the Phils, I'm excited bout my first trip to Comerica and I've rooted for Detroit in the AL for 4 years now. Grabbed a Tigers shirt/jersey (Cabrera) from Target - medium - that shrank in the dryer WAY more than I thought it would. Now I look kinda buff in it, but after the nachos/beer my guess is I'm gonna look fat in it. No worries. Baseball is here.

Michael very nice pickups. I think if you went to a hockey game you would be addicted. it's a very high speed game and it comes across much better in person than it does on tv.

Dave(W) I've never said that I actually work at work  sorry your Sabres missed the Playoffs. I would have much rather seen them in than the Crapitals.

since I showed off my Pirates shelf I might as well show off my train shelf. the pics on the wall are ones that I have taken over the last several months. the Lionel train was my grandfather's. it's a Lionel Adriatic Type 2-6-4-Locomotive No. 2037 circa 1954.

Hey Russ, sorry to hear about your Gramma. I bet she was an excellent lady and I'm glad you made it in time to see her.

I just threw my marinated ribs into the oven for the 6 hour process. This is my first time experimenting with ribs and I'm pretty excited for lunch today! By the way, I posted last night that the Mantle card that I bought for $50 (from Canada) came in and I expected it to be in worse condition, but to be honest with you, I'm pretty pumped about it. My first Mantle (with the exception of A.L. Bombers) and it's cool to own a card like this. Sucks that it's in rough shape...but awesome that it's Mantle!

Good morning!

Went fishing Friday afternoon, beautiful day, didn't catch anything. But "Betsy" ran great, started very well, and after I rebuilt the top of the motor last year (spring coil for pull starting and retracting the pull cord) worked well with no problems. Going back out this afternoon, but to a different lake just down the road.
