Weird...

So, I put in an opening bid on this card a couple days ago for $.99. I just paid for my Davis sig, and I wanted to check my status on it, but I couldn't find any sort of record that I had bid on it, so I found the listing, and while I would have been outbid by now, it doesn't show that I had a bid on it.

Was my bid cancelled? Kind of odd if it was...

It wasnt a matter of gettin' it. I understood it all from the get-go. It was more of an "I dont want Gonzo to leave" sorta thing.

For LA, they think that they can win it all now. And I can see ALL 4 of those guys contributing and succeeding in LA.

For Boston, they have flexibility and 260 million off of the books. As thin as the FA pool looks to bve this offseason, I am hoping that they go the TB approach and use the Ciriaco type players to add to the Pedroias/Ortiz/Lesters etc. There is no reason that they cant get that team back in order in a hurry. I just want to see a team attitude and strong unity again. They dont need to take on another (2) 100 million plus contracts to get players that can contribute.

Thanks for the heads-up Jessie. I just checked, it on the NFL Network at 3pm CDT. I just set the Directv for a reminder to auto select programming.
