Dave sorry to hear about your back and the Red Wings cards

Thank you and take another sip of Haterade! :D :D

:D :D :D

I'm sure they are nice cards though and Jesse accidentally (on purpose) sent me 3 Hossa cards that should have been in your bunch. they ended up in my cat's litter box.

Real men (hockey fans) don't have cats... ;) :D :D

George - This ones for you bud...got it in the mail just yesterday. Sorry if it sounds "wishywashy" but after having it in hand I think I don't mind sending it elsewhere to another PC. Hit me up via PM or here in the MT if you still want it :) I still need to scan in the other stuff from the break. EDIT: Do you have other years with ***** players?? They may look great bunched together to show quantity. Things are great here. Jen and I just spend a good $600 at REI and renewed tons of our camping gear and hiking gear so we are more than stoked to put those to use. How about yourself?? Any recent new stuff with the family or teaching??

So I had AWESOME luck at the shop yesterday. I bought a box of 09 Unique since they had it on sale...didn't get much there and was mainly going for a decent patch (1 per box) or luck out and try to get a case hit. I've yet to scan the Unique but it wasn't very Unique  No case hit, the auto was Adam Lind (all for Jesse since its the Blue Jays) s bat piece of some newer rookie and the patch was a Kevin Youkilis /35 TOTAL 1 color white patch. In hand makes it look like there is no material ::facepalm::  You win some and lose some right?? So after opening the box the damage was about $96 after tax. Paid with a $100 bill and instead of getting change back asked if I could snag a pack from the case. Here is where the story gets good (sorry for the long winded read already  ). Only $5 packs were 08 and 09 Topps/Bowman/"crap" stuff to choose from. There was 1 newly opened box with 3 packs gone of 09 Bowman Draft. I literally said out loud to the 3 buddies working there "I'll try one pack and that is it!!!" So I yank one pack out...and here is what I pulled:

2009 Bowman Draft Tyler Matzek Gold Refractor Auto 50/50

I have absolutely no clue what it will go for but I see many people on the transaction boards having paypal to buy this guy. Anyone want to help with what kind of "cap" I should keep towards?? I'm hoping for direct paypal or a high end trade for some cool patch/vet PC stuff 8-)

Those Motleys should look very nice slabbed. I'll try to get the brain gears working to give any ideas of what would/can be done to make those look cool together 8-)

Brian - GREAT to see you dude!!! Hope all is well...you're well missed around here. How is the new job going sugar daddy??

Alex -that should land you something really nice for the PC. You going to stick to trading it or just sell it?

HAHA! Well the thing about the job is that it was a huge joke for April Fools! I guess some folks didn't get the memo on that! I lost track of the thread I posted up here and I figured that Gilmore or the few others that knew would have spilled the beans. LOL

As for work though, we've been working double time at the store. Its been a ton of looonng nights but hopefully it will all be worth it.

THANKS A TON for the card comments guys. I'm about to post it on the baseball board to gain interest and go from there

Brian - Sorry to hear life is on the crappy end...to keep the glass half full hopefully it makes you want to keep working. Either than that I wish you the best of luck, let us know what we can do to distract you from the crap. Atleast you aren't beating around the bush and telling everyone things are fine...either way hope to see your happiness levels jump up like Heyward prices for you soon man!!!
