Here are some photos of the little remaining vintage stuff I have:

My core action figure collection. Seems so small now, but when I was a kid, I thought I had tons of these guys!

Original Taun Taun creature:

Random weapons/accessories. For some reason I chose to paint a few of them shiny black with model paint. They are slightly sticky now... (note the cool snake/cane from my Yoda!)

Awesome mail-away accessories! Luke Dagobah backpack (with space for him to carry Yoda), two Hoth battle backpacks, grappling hook/utility belt, and Asteroid Cave breathmasks!

Weird ATSV Hoth vehicle, not in the movie, but I had to have it:

Coupla die cast vehicles: Jawa Sandcrawler and Landspeeder (minus the little windshield which was lost in a battle with a neighbor kid. Stupid kid.)

And, apropos of nothing, my Mork from Ork and Lone Ranger action figures. In my imagination, they were evil mercenaries from other worlds which were always dispatched easily by Han, Luke, Chewie and the Princess.

Almost forgot one of the best ones! My Hoth Imperial Attack Base playset! Ah, to remember how many epic battles were waged here...

Stopped at TRU yesterday, saw some Mars Attacks cards made by Topps. Box advertised 1 sketch per box. I picked up a pack to look at odds on the back and I noticed each pack was fanned. Sketch must be the back card of the pack.

Wonderful... I wish after the GPK fiasco Topps would stop putting the valuable stuff in the back where it can be seen by all.

George will appreciate this. Talking sports with my dad right now and he says that Gale Sayers was the best RB he's ever seen. Him and Barry Sanders.

As I remember, he was a toughie. Seem to recall my best friend and I getting into a little tiff over the fact that i found one first at a cool toystore of my youth called Mini-City. I bought one for myself, leaving two on the shelf. I ran over to his house to show it to him and he wanted one so much, we then ran back to Mini-City, but alas for him, there were no more.

I am guessing around $2.88, because I have some other backing cards from my original figures and that was the price.

Also, I had very little money when I was in the seventh grade, so $3 woulda been my limit!

You aren't the only one. I can remember going to card shows with $10 and feeling spoiled. Of course, packs were mostly 50cents at that point and base cards of Ryan, Ripken, Griffey, Thomas, etc were a Big deal.

My favorite Star Wars joke:

What is the temperature inside of a Taun Taun?
