Wish it would here. Had 13" first two days while I was gone.. Came home to none on the ground. Stay warm and don't hurt yourself shoveling.

The biggest issue was space. I moved in October, will be moving again in July, and then moving once again in another year or two (hopefully into a more permanent place) and I can't haul these with. I also want 99.9% of my stuff out of my parents house within that timeframe.

What's crazy is that I actually joined FCB 5 years ago for this exact reason. Of course, I got sucked into the community and hung around.

Most importantly, this isn't an end to my involvement in the hobby, just adding some breathing room.

So, a cool story from today...

We are in the AT&T store (I think 5 of us in total) looking to change our plan and upgrade phones. I was talking to my dad about the deal I made this morning (for the cards).

The guy helping us overheard the conversation and basically said to his coworker "Hey, baseball cards."

Ended up talking to one of the employees about collecting for about an hour. I thought that was cool.

That's awesome. Nice to find someone willing to talk and not ridicule. A couple guys at work know I collect and are cool with it and actual inquire about it.

I'm looking at getting a pc or laptop but only would need it for transferring pictures from a camera or scanner and editing. Any suggestions?

My uncle thinks my collecting is pretty cool. His son his in 8th grade, and I've made a few deals with my uncle for some stuff. I gave my cousin a Rex Burkhead signed photo for Christmas, and they both thought it was really cool. After that my uncle started asking about my collection a little more, and he ended up buying a few things from me. He took a Bob Feller signed lithograph, Calvin Johnson 8x10, and I feel like there were a couple more as well. He's actually thinking about getting into TTM to start up a photo collection for him and his son. He just moved into a new apartment and is looking at getting some of the stuff hung up now

There are so many variables I can't say this directly pertains to any changes you have made.. But I have been on the forum on and off all day via mobile app (through wi-fi, not phone signal) and most of the day it seemed very slow and sometimes would stop at loading and never get to "processing" which always pops up before actually displaying threads/posts.

However, in the few hours I have not had any problems and feel like I've seen a significant speed increase. Again, variables such as my connection strength/bandwidth, app problems, and/or traffic load could all be factors... Orrrrr this change really did impact speed in a positive way if coincidentally done in this timeframe.

If you are really not looking for it to do much, you can get a very decent laptop or pc for under $300
