Today is Derby Day, I can't wait for the race today.

Ok it has finally stopped rain here to day, so I get to cut the grass
and then paint 2 walls to day. yeah for me.

.....I awoke to mostly sunny skies a little further south Art. Sorry you have the rain. We also had a gorgeous evening last night and were able to get in our ballgames for the kids. (I am Central Maine, Art is way to the North).

Glad youll have a George Costanza-esque wallet at the end of the day...... :lol: Hopefully you know where I am coming from.

We are having a dedication for my mom today. She passed away last September from lung cancer.

My dad works for the city of Oskaloosa and they had to replace a bench at the city playground.

So my dad paid for the bench and a plaque with my mom's name on it and they are installing it today.

Should be bittersweet.

I bought my first new car about a year ago and it was an AWFUL experience. I've never been lied to so much in my life. My parents hooked me up with a 15k check and told me I could get anything I wanted as long as it was new. I ended up buying a Toyota Corolla not because it was the best car I could afford but because the salesman was completely honest throughout the entire process. Couldn't say the same thing about the 3 Ford dealerships and 2 Chevy dealerships I went to.
