Could this not happen on other forums?

They're one of, if not the, biggest card forums today and I see people shooting from the hip all the time there. It can happen here but when it does members don't feed the flames as much. Just my two cents.

Seems a lot of members there helped the moderators put together the pieces of a major scam in our hobby.

You are a member there, just ask. I am going to assume the people that have been scammed are doing more than just posting about it on a forum.

I'm a BO member, and an infrequent visitor to these boards, but I knew nothing about this scam until reading this thread. It's silly to blame BO in any way for what took place.

Nice to see WCTYSON is alive and well. Hopefully his self-censor button works better on this site than it did over there. We've locked horns a few times but I always respected his opinions, if not the manner in which he delivered them.

There are a lot of dishonest people in this hobby. Ronald Reagan said, "trust, but verify." If you are in this hobby a while you think of Reagan as an optimist regarding human nature. He was only dealing with the Kremlin and not with sports memorabilia dealers.
