File a mail fraud claim. You both agreeing to the trade at hand is technically a boning contract. You can take hi. To court and get your card back or money equivalent to the value of the card. I know a friend that did this a few years ago with some Yu-Gi-Oh card..it sounds silly to go to court over something g like this but you can't let ppl get away with that crap like this. I would contact a lawyer..seriously.

I really don't think there is anything that will make me trade it. This is one of the rarer Wrights out of that stuff. It the only one our of the sets that has the MLB authentication sticker on it. This is from the 2010 All-Star Game Workout & Home Run Derby Jersey so its rare. I would like to know though how you know i own & how you were able to message me through ebay. I thought my identity on ebay was secure. About the only thing i would be willing to trade for it is if you find me one of the 2 cards i'm missing out of this. I already own these 2 cards but im looking for the other 2 pieces. You find me one of them & I would trade you. this is the photo

Awesome man, those Museum patch autos are amazing. I know what jersey your Topps 60 jumbo is from because I have 3 of them from that set that all have patches from that same jersey. I am trying to get my hands on this one (#1/1 DAVID WRIGHT 2011 TRIPLE THREADS JUMBO LOGO PAT (04/18/2012)...) it is from the 2011 triple threads series and is the 1/1 all star sleeve patch from the 2011 all star workout jersey. If youre not interested in that one, I will see what I can do about finding more of the 2013 Museum patch autos that youre looking for. Yeah, I was just using that as a picture to show you what it looks like. That website shows cards that were previously sold on ebay and what they sold for is all that site is. I dont think I could do a straight up swap for yours if I get the booklet. Id have to have some sort of cash/card deal, because those booklets dont come cheap.

Haha, You can just go to advanced search and you can click on search by bidder and it shows the items that that user is bidding on or has won recently. Yeah, that chipper is amazing, The owner is a user on a card forum that I am as well. He was so excited to pick it up from a guy who said hed never sell it, but then he did. I thought the guy bought it to keep it, but apparently not.

Topps doesn't do that man, unless things have changed. Ive called them trying to get cards verified as being real in the past and was told they couldn't verify it. For your sake, I hope its real. I cant prove its fake, that's why I just simply say I wouldn't touch it. Ive seen and have tons of those Topps 60 Jumbos and none that I have seen come close to looking like that patch and none of them have patches that cover the entire frame like that. Just my opinions man, I do hope its real because I am tired of seing people fake patches.

You have to know who to talk to when you call. & YES i spoke witht he rep from TOPPS & he requested i email a photo of the card to him front and back. they are able to track down cards by the numbers that are placed on the card. He CONFIRMED it was real and it was safe for me to purchase it. But to make all you haters believe me, I will be sending it to beckett to be slab for authenticity so no one else thinks its fake.

I don't know about being a hater man, just simply trying to help you be more informed. Getting it slabbed authentic by Beckett does not make it real or authentic. I've had this discussion with numerous collectors as well as with Beckett employees. They do not authenticate patches, so when they slab a patch as authentic, they base it on the card alone. They have no way to verify the authenticity of a patch since Topps doesn't keep a database of their cards made. I've got pictures of at least 4 fake Topps 60 jumbo patches that were slabbed by Beckett as being authentic, and I have pictures of the original cards before they were slabbed and faked to prove it.

I wouldn't send to it Beckett and waste your money because that won't prove anything. That will only make Beckett get richer. As for the guy you spoke with at Topps, how did he tell you he was able to verify it being real? Did he happen to see that particular card before it was inserted into a pack? When you call Topps you can get different answers from everybody you talk to and when I was trying to get one authenticated way back when, after I talked to a few reps, I was eventually told that they couldn't verify it as real. Did the Topps rep email you proof or did he just say that it was real? Again, I have no proof yours is fake, it just fits the criteria of all other fakes I've seen.

You have a 2011 part of all star jersey patch with the holo #/20 and you're asking for a 2012 all star jersey patch that is autographed and #/6. How would that be fair for me? You bought your card for $200 and the auto patch is easily a $250-300 card. Yours is not worth more by far, but I'd rather have it more only because I collect those.

No offense, but I'm not sending anything first to anyone. I've already made that mistake once & got burned & the guy who did it is no sitting in jail. I've learned a valuable lesson on that one. I have no idea who you are as you don't know me. But i can tell you im not sending anything out before i have whats being traded to me.
I've got no problems with doing the trade & I'm agreeing to the terms of the cards being traded however im not mailing this card out until I would have the that one first. I'm very trusted in my trading & have never had any issues. I've got 8 years in Law Enforcement & know all to well about scams & such. I do find it odd that you say he accepted your offer here on ebay however im looking for the ended auction & its no showing as a sold listing. Its not even showing a listing at all.

Youre investigative skills must be getting worse, or either you don't understand how to look at ebays completed listings. You can find the listing one of two ways: 1. Go to completed listings and search 2012 David wright 1/1, or go to advanced search and click search by bidder, type my name in and you will see all of the auctions I've won in the past 15 days. Only way this trade is going to happen is if you send first. No offense, but you have little feedback here on eBay. I am a member of numerous card trading forums such as blowout cards, Beckett, freedomcardboard, and sportscardforum and have nothing but positive feedback on them all even when I send first. You say that the only way you'll trade is if you get your end in hand first, well that's not going to happen. I don't know you nor do you have enough feedback for me to send first. You don't know me either, but what you can do is go on those sites and look at my feedback. Your history as a cop has nothing to do with this situation. Anyways if you want to trade with me you'll have to send first. If you're not comfortable with that, that's ok, we don't have to trade. I'm a collector, not a scammer. You will not be scammed by me by any means so that is no excuse here.

My trading policy is you would send me your card & the day i get the card in my hand, I then ship your card same day as yours arrives. Thats the only way i trade & people understand it and agree to my terms. In all the trades I've done you will be the first that doesnt want to & i understand & its ok. I have no problem placing a $50.00 bill in the bubble envelope with the card to ship to you. I've done cash & card trades plenty of times and sent the cash in the mail with the card & never had a problem.
I will say this, Once my paypal account is back up and running, I'm not going to be able to send money via Gifts, Friends, or Goods/services. Thats part of the agreement of me being able to get my paypal account once the 30 days is up. I will only be allowed to pay for things thru ebay & if someone sends me a invoice of what I'm buying.
So its either you send the card tuesday morning & the same day i get the card I'll ship out this card + $50.00 cash in with it 2-3 day priority mail USPS.... or you wait until this paypal suspension is over & you send me a invoice for $50.00 & you state in the deatils that I'm buying a David Wright patch auto & I can pay you that way. Once youre suspension is up, you will be able to make payments as goods/services. Thats the only way you can send money. The only thing paypal is concerned with is getting their cut of your transactions. As long as you send good/services, they get a cut. Doesnt matter what you put in the title bar of the invoice as long as you send goods, they get their cut of the money. They dont care what it is that youre selling, only that youre selling something so they can get a cut. You say youve never had a problem sending, but yet all you keep yelling at me is how youve been scammed and had problems in the past. Not fussing, its just that youre being very contradictory. Anyways, I really want to work this trade out with you, but I dont like people sending me cash in envelopes, because there is just too many ways for things to go wrong, I would prefer that we wait until your suspension is up so that you can make the payment through paypal and the money will be secure. If you dont want to wait that long to trade with me and you have a better offer on the table, I would rather you didnt and waited on it for me, but I understand if you get a better trade offer for it. If you do happen to trade it to one of your buddies on facebook before the suspension is up, I would hope that you would put me in contact with them so that I could still have a shot at this one since I was nice enough to put you in contact with the other guy who hooked you up with the other patch and the 1/1 logoman auto. Haha, You can just go to advanced search and you can click on search by bidder and it shows the items that that user is bidding on or has won recently. Yeah, that chipper is amazing, The owner is a user on a card forum that I am as well. He was so excited to pick it up from a guy who said hed never sell it, but then he did. Topps doesn't do that man, unless things have changed. Ive called them trying to get cards verified as being real in the past and was told they couldn't verify it. For your sake, I hope its real. I cant prove its fake, that's why I just simply say I wouldn't touch it. Ive seen and have tons of those Topps 60 Jumbos and none that I have seen come close to looking like that patch and none of them have patches that cover the entire frame like that. Just my opinions man, I do hope its real because I am tired of seing people fake patches.

You have to know who to talk to when you call. & YES i spoke witht he rep from TOPPS & he requested i email a photo of the card to him front and back. they are able to track down cards by the numbers that are placed on the card. He CONFIRMED it was real and it was safe for me to purchase it. But to make all you haters believe me, I will be sending it to beckett to be slab for authenticity so no one else thinks its fake.

I don't know about being a hater man, just simply trying to help you be more informed. Getting it slabbed authentic by Beckett does not make it real or authentic. I've had this discussion with numerous collectors as well as with Beckett employees. They do not authenticate patches, so when they slab a patch as authentic, they base it on the card alone. They have no way to verify the authenticity of a patch since Topps doesn't keep a database of their cards made. I've got pictures of at least 4 fake Topps 60 jumbo patches that were slabbed by Beckett as being authentic, and I have pictures of the original cards before they were slabbed and faked to prove it.

I wouldn't send to it Beckett and waste your money because that won't prove anything. That will only make Beckett get richer. As for the guy you spoke with at Topps, how did he tell you he was able to verify it being real? Did he happen to see that particular card before it was inserted into a pack? When you call Topps you can get different answers from everybody you talk to and when I was trying to get one authenticated way back when, after I talked to a few reps, I was eventually told that they couldn't verify it as real. Did the Topps rep email you proof or did he just say that it was real? Again, I have no proof yours is fake, it just fits the criteria of all other fakes I've seen.

You bought your card for $200 and the auto patch is easily a $250-300 card. Yours is not worth more by far, but I'd rather have it more only because I collect those.

Go to completed listings and search 2012 David wright 1/1, or go to advanced search and click search by bidder, type my name in and you will see all of the auctions I've won in the past 15 days. Only way this trade is going to happen is if you send first. No offense, but you have little feedback here on eBay. You say that the only way you'll trade is if you get your end in hand first, well that's not going to happen. I don't know you nor do you have enough feedback for me to send first. I have no problem placing a $50.00 bill in the bubble envelope with the card to ship to you. I've done cash & card trades plenty of times and sent the cash in the mail with the card & never had a problem.
I will say this, Once my paypal account is back up and running, I'm not going to be able to send money via Gifts, Friends, or Goods/services. Thats part of the agreement of me being able to get my paypal account once the 30 days is up. I will only be allowed to pay for things thru ebay & if someone sends me a invoice of what I'm buying.
So its either you send the card tuesday morning & the same day i get the card I'll ship out this card + $50.00 cash in with it 2-3 day priority mail USPS.... or you wait until this paypal suspension is over & you send me a invoice for $50.00 & you state in the deatils that I'm buying a David Wright patch auto & I can pay you that way. Once youre suspension is up, you will be able to make payments as goods/services. Thats the only way you can send money. The only thing paypal is concerned with is getting their cut of your transactions. As long as you send good/services, they get a cut. Doesnt matter what you put in the title bar of the invoice as long as you send goods, they get their cut of the money. They dont care what it is that youre selling, only that youre selling something so they can get a cut. You say youve never had a problem sending, but yet all you keep yelling at me is how youve been scammed and had problems in the past. Not fussing, its just that youre being very contradictory. Anyways, I really want to work this trade out with you, but I dont like people sending me cash in envelopes, because there is just too many ways for things to go wrong, I would prefer that we wait until your suspension is up so that you can make the payment through paypal and the money will be secure. If you dont want to wait that long to trade with me and you have a better offer on the table, I would rather you didnt and waited on it for me, but I understand if you get a better trade offer for it. If you do happen to trade it to one of your buddies on facebook before the suspension is up, I would hope that you would put me in contact with them so that I could still have a shot at this one since I was nice enough to put you in contact with the other guy who hooked you up with the other patch and the 1/1 logoman auto. Youre very sketchy about it. All youve mentioned to me, was that you had be suspended for receiving gift payments for groups spots and raffles and such. Paypal doesnt want you doing that without taking a cut. As long as its for goods/services, paypal doesnt care what the money is for, whether that be for trading, raffles, or whatever. Putting that in the Notes box and sending goods/services, isnt going to get you kicked off of paypal. Sending gift payments and listing trade or raffle, would get you kicked off, because thats what you told me you got in trouble for previously. Am I correct so far? YOURE making things WAY more complicated than they need to be with all of your complications that you havent been very clear about or are simply confused about yourself. Again, you will only keep getting in trouble if you use gift payment, which we are not doing here. The fact that I mention the other half of the deal is useless to paypal because that is simply us swapping cards, no money involved so it doesnt affect them. As long as you send payment for goods/services, it doesnt matter what you put.

correct now your learning. I was sending & recieving gift payments & was told not to do that because of people getting caught by other members in my group.
So i started sending invoices, in the invoice i would type out "Trading for blah blah blah etc, then charging them, I got caught because i sent 3 invoice payments in one night to one person who was involved in raffles and got caught because he typed the words raffle in hie section to me when he paid me, thats what got me caught. So when i talked to the man on the phone who works for paypal, he said that if i did it again in anyway shape or form i would be suspended, thats why i aske dyou to not say anything about "TRade in the invoice. They may think im up to raffles etc.
just forget man, you think your some detective doing whatever it is you think your doing. I know what paypal said to me on the phone, im done talking about this. I'm not loosing my paypal account over this. You purchased the card for $199 on eBay, so therefore it has a value of $199. I bought my card to trade for $250. Youre Topps 60 card is valued at $200, since that is what you paid. You sent me $50 to recipricate the difference as we previously agreed.

Look, its been one hell of day for me today. first of all im sorry for all the ranting i did and name calling. Youre very sketchy about it. All youve mentioned to me, was that you had be suspended for receiving gift payments for groups spots and raffles and such. Paypal doesnt want you doing that without taking a cut. As long as its for goods/services, paypal doesnt care what the money is for, whether that be for trading, raffles, or whatever. Putting that in the Notes box and sending goods/services, isnt going to get you kicked off of paypal. Sending gift payments and listing trade or raffle, would get you kicked off, because thats what you told me you got in trouble for previously. Am I correct so far? YOURE making things WAY more complicated than they need to be with all of your complications that you havent been very clear about or are simply confused about yourself. Again, you will only keep getting in trouble if you use gift payment, which we are not doing here. The fact that I mention the other half of the deal is useless to paypal because that is simply us swapping cards, no money involved so it doesnt affect them. correct now your learning. I was sending & recieving gift payments & was told not to do that because of people getting caught by other members in my group.
So i started sending invoices, in the invoice i would type out "Trading for blah blah blah etc, then charging them, I got caught because i sent 3 invoice payments in one night to one person who was involved in raffles and got caught because he typed the words raffle in hie section to me when he paid me, thats what got me caught. So when i talked to the man on the phone who works for paypal, he said that if i did it again in anyway shape or form i would be suspended, thats why i aske dyou to not say anything about "TRade in the invoice. They may think im up to raffles etc.

How is he going to get his cards, if youre content on sending them back to me after I return them. You still have not addressed that lie. Instead of offering to resend the card we agreed on or return my card to make up for it, which is what any other person in this hobby would offer after a mistake of this caliber. You havent tried to make up for your mistake at all until now.

I told you if i couldnt get the card back i can send something else to cover it. I even offered more in trade value to make it right. If i would have known you were going to be such an ass over it i would have never offered that. Most anyone else would have jumped all over it.

I sent you the bo jackson & chipper by mistake & the topps 60 to him. He's not got the card yet i just talked to him on the phone. he's sending it back to me when it arrives to him.
now i went to my card shop on saturday and trade the all star patch you sent me for some cards they had in the shop, cause for one i really didnt want the card again after i had already sold it but you wouldnt stop bugging me about this topps 60 so i figured what the hell make you go away, caus eyou obvsivlsy wasnt going to leave me alone.
so, ive already talked to my buddy who owns the shop and told him whats happened & i told him in needed to come get the card back and bring his back hes ok with it and understands. So they open at 10 am i'll be their at 10:30 pick up the card and ship it to you overnight so you can have it in a timley manner.
Now the questions remains when are you going to delete the post you made slandering me?

You dont get to agree on a trade, and then get to decide to change what cards youre going to trade after I send my end. What makes you think that is right and you can get away with that? The way you right this situation would be to have the other guy and myself send the packages to each other, then we both get our ends of the deal. But you and I both know that there is no other guy that these were supposed to go to. You though you were just going to be slick and have me send first and then screw me over by sending me some other cards that you claim are equal in value that I do not want nor ever inquired about.

Look, its been one hell of day for me today. first of all im sorry for all the ranting i did and name calling. I thought i was doing a stand up thing by telling you that if i couldnt get the card back i would offer to send more to you to make it up. If you would have just simply said no if you cant send me the card i want i'll just want you send me mine back i would have said ok, no worries.
You thinking i did this on purpose is way wrong. I'm in about 5 groups on FB & they all know im more than 100% when it comes tr trading or selling. I've helped others on Facebook track down and proscute scammers on fb. I assure you the cards were sent to the wrong person. I've been asked 50 times tonight about your little post and it was way out of line. but again their is nothing i can say to change your mind about this, you were gun hoe to convict me on something you had no idea about.
well anyway in the morning i'm shipping out the card once i get it back from the card shop cause i just want this over with. So when will you be shipping me my cards back? & the refund

Sorry, but I only went as far as to where he is threatening to block you. Not saying what he did is right at all. But you seemed very persistent to get a deal done, even after all the red flags.

I am at a loss as to why you ever traded with him in the first place. I realize that you wanted the card badly, but there are so many warning signs where it seems like you should have walked away.
Such a good trader that he had to remove his facebook page with all his great feedback from all the excellent transactions he has completed recently. Or maybe he knew the multitude of comments about to be posted on that page. Like the others said that guy was so wishy-washy with his comments I can't believe you didn't see something bad coming. He wanted the card, didn't want the card, wanted the card, didn't care if it burned because you know "he owned it before"

The whole line is very confusing, but - from what I can tell - he claims the card that the OP purchased/sent got sent ALONG WITH THE OTHER CARD to some unknown person. Keep in mind - this is card that the said he wasn't willing to trade, anyway, AND a card he was willing to trade that card for that he JUST HAD TO HAVE.
His excuse was that his wife swapped the packages... so wait.. he was sending BOTH cards back to the OP? He was getting the card he purchased plus the card he was interested in?
Then - he immediately acted like it was no big deal that he sent two cards (~$400 worth) to someone and didn't think he'd really be able to get them back... but HEY, it'd be okay since he send the OP another card to "make up" for it.
The thing stank from the beginning.
