Scanning cards question.

I am trying to scan some cards into my computer. The program wont download to my computer so I am trying to scan and save to a memory card. It keeps cutting off a side or a top on every card on the scan. Any tips to keep it from doing this? Any help would be great. Thanks, Darron

Don't let it auto-crop. Click the Preview button first, then manually select the area the card is. Then, click Scan.

As for not saving to the computer check the directory that it is saving to.You probrobly have to change it.

I can not get the freaking software for the HP Photosmart C4795 All In One Printer to go onto my computer and the tech support people hung up on me because I do not have a warranty? I can't get help with a product that was bought because it is not under warranty anymore? Nothing needs fixed or anything just needed help with installing a driver onto my computer since it wont work. It is frustrating. I was only supposed to have this thing for 3 days since I borrowed it from a family friend and this is day 3 and I have 0 cards scanned. I need to scan 80 or so cards so that my site looks ok. I thought it would be simple but thanks to the kind jackasses at HP Customer Support it is not a simple task. Seriously unbelievable.

You don't need the HP software if the drivers are already installed.

Just use the built in Windows tools.

I am not sure if the drivers are installed though. I just borrowed it from a friend, tried to download the stuff from HPs website so that I can scan some cards and I cant get it to work, Kodaks All In One interface is so much easier, sadly my Kodak scanner quit working before I got everything scanned in and now I have to deal with HP

In order to use the HP "Free Phone Support" you must buy a new 24.99 warranty so that they can help put a program on my computer to use their product. So I guess I am still without my cards being scanned and I am taking this scanner back to my friend. So FRACK HP.
