Love 'em. I'm partial to the Dick Groat myself.

Also a word of advice from me would be to change the holders. Cards tighlt screwed down in the screw down holders tend to merge over time with the plastic. Just a word of advice.

Congrats on the first 50, I have a few of those 50 in my collection ;)

You said your father put the first 50 together, are you planning on putting the rest of the set together? I think It'd be a fun task to do. I know I've always enjoyed putting sets together, even if it takes forever.

Definately agree with you about switching them out of those savage screwdowns. I even opened one up earlier today to make sure they were good. If they were glossy I would be alot more worried. Might eventually try to finish the set.

It'll be expensive, but worthwhile and fun. Thats good that the one you opened didn't peel apart or anything. 54 topps is a set that I've been wanting to start for a while, but too many different projects being worked on right now including the latest one in my sig.

Gorgeous cards!
The '54 Topps Whitey Ford and Warren Spahn are two of my favorite cards ever.
