I would say it's pretty much official then...Blanco has an outside shot, but it's very outside. I think it's a good deal for the Braves...Darrow's not a bad prospect.

No, he's not. I'm surprised the Tigers will still trade with us after the JJJ & Gorkys for Renteria deal :lol:

He has been great this spring. I think he will do awesome!

Interesting trade by the Tigers as they already have a ton of OFs. It wouldn't surprise me to see Thames traded sometime this week now.

I think he'll be up there for ROY and thought that before the trade. I think he will be a nice player for several years.

Braves GM Frank Wren wasn't ready to name a starting center fielder following the trade of Josh Anderson to the Tigers.
"The center-field job is still open," Atlanta general manager Frank Wren said. "It will be hard to keep two. We knew we couldn’t keep all three." While Jordan Schafer is certainly the exciting fantasy prospect, it's not his job just yet. The Braves will likely give bench spots to Matt Diaz, Omar Infante, Martin Prado, Greg Norton and David Ross, leaving room for just one center fielder. It's still possible that Gregor Blanco will get the nod, with Schafer heading to Triple-A.

They also seem to care less and forget these things when the player never actually takes the drug. Being tied to an "issue" with HGH that also involves other prospects, doesn't hold as much weight as getting caught using.
