i have to wonder why the corners on the marty and lindros' are beat to shat though

i noticed that as well. I guess people never took good care of their cards way back then ::facepalm::

factory sets are about $6 EACH! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

so for $30, Panini would have had 5 mint sets to have signed lol

You would think it would be easy to find mint shape copies of those cards. I know in Donruss baseball autos like it with diamond kings, a lot of those were in brutal shape as well. Off centered and dinged up.

Anyone have checklist and #'s signed on these?

no ones knows as i believe the picture i posted is the only one that has turned up so far.

I think we need a tracker on those score original autos inserted. I have no idea who is even in it or print runs on autos. Has it not been released. I liked that Lindros that just sold. Looks to be in in nice shape, with a nice clean auto on it.

And it jumped past my budget. Was thinking if it stays at $150 for a few days Ill toss on a $300 snipe... now that is $301 with 3 days left... guess Ill just watch the madness happen.

I frankly don't care. It's a buyback. I'd rather a card that looks like it's old rather than something just pulled out of the vaults and called a "buyback". I've always loved Recollection Collection cards and the fact the cards are similar condition as they were in the day I think is great. If I'm buying it, it sure as hell isn't for the condition of the card.

Now if you have a card with 90-10 centering and completely trashed corners and creases, that may be different story, but a soft corner...meh, whatever.

I have to agree the Lindros for $175 is definitely a steal. go for whoever got that one.
