I hope i dont jinx him but its nice to see him healthy and playing well. Granted the power numbers are not there but he is hitting well.

last year it looked like STL won the Glaus/Rolen swap, but I think it's clear Toronto was the ultimate winner.

Rolen retooled his swing completely last August. He said it would sap some power but ultimately allow him to be effective again. Looks like he was exactly right.

With another three or so effective years, Rolen has an excellent chance to ending up in the HOF.

I agree, ive always really liked Rolen as a player and glad he was willing to completely change his approach to be able to keep playing.

I know, makes me angry that I won a lot of (15) 95 Bowman's Best PSA 9's for $35 and then the seller had the balls to try and charge me $52 for insurance. Needless to say, I never paid.

Rolen has no chance of making the Hall of Fame, even with his 7 Gold Gloves.
He has a .283 lifetime avg. with 275 home runs and his power has vanished.
He was a great player for 8 years, from 1997-2004, but that won't get him into the Hall.
Otherwise, playes like Don Mattingly and Dale Murphy would've been enshrined years ago.
It's a shame, because Rolen's fielding is definitely Hall-worthy.

Last year the Cards won, this year the Jays won. Sounds like its 50/50 to me.

Fingers crossed, maybe Glaus can come back and make an impact to push the Cards into the playoffs.

My fingers are crossed too!

And hopefully Rolen will keep it up too!
