Not sure you can really blame him for the pitchers on the DL.lisu said:tm decomposer said:You play for the A's?lisu said:It's his fault that he uses his pitchers poorly and doesn't communicate effectively enough to be a good manager.
I've seen the aftermath of 3 SP's going on the DL and a bunch of upset bullpen guys.

Well I think we also need to look at how are hitting coach and maybe look into removing him as well. But yesterday is a step in the right direction.elmalo said:Not sure you can really blame him for the pitchers on the DL.lisu said:tm decomposer said:You play for the A's?lisu said:It's his fault that he uses his pitchers poorly and doesn't communicate effectively enough to be a good manager.

I still have to go with Geren he should have been handed hi walking papers last season and they could have been looking for a new skipper after the end of the season last year. I think they just got relaxed with him at the helm and tried to give him way too many chances. And an A's fan it is demoralizing do I know the players feel like crap or they should.gt2590 said:You don't have to be a player when there are so many reports of how poorly he handled the players, especially the Pitchers. And I'm glad he's gone 'cuz he inspired no reason for hope or confidence from the players or fans either.
But I still point to the Chavez contract as the biggest problem in Oak-town the last 6-7 years...
