It's his fault that he uses his pitchers poorly and doesn't communicate effectively enough to be a good manager.

I've seen the aftermath of 3 SP's going on the DL and a bunch of upset bullpen guys.

Not sure you can really blame him for the pitchers on the DL.

He is getting blamed for mismanaging his pitchers. I'm not saying that he did, but others are blaming him for his SP's getting injured. I don't know what's going on over there, but I've seen a lot of blown wins for them because of RP's not being used effectively. His bullpen management has been atrocious.

Well I think we also need to look at how are hitting coach and maybe look into removing him as well. But yesterday is a step in the right direction.

You don't have to be a player when there are so many reports of how poorly he handled the players, especially the Pitchers. And I'm glad he's gone 'cuz he inspired no reason for hope or confidence from the players or fans either.

But I still point to the Chavez contract as the biggest problem in Oak-town the last 6-7 years...

I still have to go with Geren he should have been handed hi walking papers last season and they could have been looking for a new skipper after the end of the season last year. I think they just got relaxed with him at the helm and tried to give him way too many chances. And an A's fan it is demoralizing do I know the players feel like crap or they should.
