This bracket is really messed up. Duke ahead of Cuse? Duke with the easiest bracket? Tennessee is better than a 6, ND is worse than a 6. The entire A10 is seeded too low.

Baylor is going to make the final four.

Tennessee as a 6 is a SHOCK!!! They beat Kansas AND Kentucky and were ranked #13 when they lost to Kentucky. That's tuff.

And Virginia Tech gets scrubbed for the second time in three years.

I really like both GTown and Tennessee. I hate that I have to pick between them in the 2nd round.

Overall, the committe did a terrible job. I think that's unquestionable.

I don't understand the Purdue seeding, but the match-up with Duke could be one of the tournament's best games.

There is some money to be made in the annual 12-5 upset games.

Sure things:

Utha State upsets Texas A&M, bank it.
Cornell can beat Temple...
Michigan State losing to New Mexico State U. could easily happen too.

Butler seems like the only safe bet to play at their seeding.

I'll be happy to see how Wisconsin does against UK. It could happen; they beat Duke earlier in the year.

I also disagree with the Gophers over Illinois. How do you disregard the fact that they (Minny) just got demolished by 30 to a team that played double OT the day before!? It's like in the committee's eyes, that game never even happened. UNREAL.

I think the head to head matchup came into play. Plus I just heard a commentator say that Minnesota beat the top 4 teams in the Big 10 which is a pretty good case.

I'm terrified for Kentucky. They could be the first #1 seed to exit the tourney if Texas plays to their potential in their second round matchup.

Also, Kansas is screwed.

I would pay so much money to be in the arena following the game if UK got beat by Texas. The fan reaction would be priceless!

I would not be shocked if it happened. Kentucky has yet to play a solid 40 minutes of basketball this year (the last Tennessee game may be an exception), and their record is not indicative of how they have played. Kentucky should easily have 5 or 6 losses including the game today. They have been in way too many close games that they had no business being in. Plus, I hate Coach Cal. He sure can recruit, but he can't coach.

If you believe they can get past the second round, do it. They have the talent to play with anyone in the nation. Sometimes they just don't like to show up. Plus I think they have the second easiest road to the final four. I probably won't have Kansas in my final four as their road is TOUGH.

And poor ol Bobby Knight. The guy is just having too many mental lapses on live TV.

Yeah when I first saw the bracket, I thought Kentucky is my pick this year but then I came on here and starting reading your posts and I got a little nervous. I know you don't know better than anyone else and its just your opinion but you do probably know Kentucky better than most since you go to school there, at least thats what I have gathered from reading this thread.

Also on a side note anyone purchase the CBS NCAA March Madness on Demand iPhone app? For $9.99 you get to watch every game live right from you phone. I am considering purchasing it but I want to make sure it's worth it.

Yeah, I go to UK and have watched every game. Kentucky struggles with pressure defenses and extened zones. If they can't make a perimeter shot, the game will be in single digits. Also, Calipari absolutely refuses to give the ball to Patrick Patterson. I'm sure people here have heard of John Wall and Demarcus Cousins, but not many have heard of Patrick Patterson. Patterson was a preseason national player of the year candidate, and has been the most dominant player in the SEC the past 2 seasons, yet there are times where he can go 5 straight possessions without touching the basketball. He's shooting 59% from the floor and that includes shooting perimeter shots. Basically, he is an automatic 2 everytime down low, yet Calipari refuses to put him in the post and run the offense through him. He is basically our 3rd or 4th option on the floor when in reality he should be the clear number 1. It's pretty sick to watch since Hellen Keller could coach this team to a Final Four.

My rants are mostly about seeding but,

1. NO WAY Wake should have made it in over VaTech who beat them H2H and was blazing hot at the end of the season.

2. NO WAY Florida should be in, especially over MissSt. who IMHO had a better season.

3. Both the Zags and Butler got screwed by being seeded too low and having tougher 1st and 2nd Round games. Especially "America's Team" who would play the Orange in their next game. Kinda shame they would play each other in the Regionals, if they get that far.

4. Other teams seeded too low: Tennesee, Old Dominion and BYU
Teams seeded too high: Vanderbilt and Pitt

5. Buffalo and OKC are too close to Syracuse and Kansas to host them in 1st and 2nd Round games. I know High seeds get some "Home Court Advantage" but that seems to be over-doing it to me.

My Final Four will probably be Kansas, Kentucky, 'Nova and Butler.
