I win a three card lot of common 1993 Pinnacle Cooperstown Duffex for $10 dlvd. That is a cheap price as these would easily get $10 each and often closer to $20 each

Shortly after I paid I get the following e-mail:
I wanted to know if you would agree to cancel the transaction. It seems that when the cards were pulled apart there was transfer and it damaged the front of the cards. I rather not sell it then for you to get it and be upset. I want to protect my seller rating and my ebay status. Will you agree to cancle [sic] the transaction for a full refund?
I'd be quite shocked if these rare cards were not individually protected with some sort of holder or that the seller wouldn't notice this alleged damage prior listing the cards... say when he was scanning them. I replied to the seller: I'd like to see scans of the damage/cards before agreeing to cancel the transaction.
