if they have a history, it's your fault for taking a risk with them and their history will tell the story itself.
if you have dealt with them in the past, then it's your fault for going back to them.
but for one instance, you never know what happened. personal problems happen. file a complaint with paypal and get your money back, no reason to smear their name over one bad transaction.

well, not to play devil's advocate here (b/c you're right, stuff happens), but you're basically saying it's either A) the OP's fault for going back to a bad seller, or B) not the seller's fault for one bad transaction. So, I ask ya: when IS it the seller's fault?

markakis8 said:i wasn't trying to be defensive as the 2nd poster stated. i was just merely stating that one bad transaction is no reason to smear a reputation.
if the seller has say...98.4% feedback then, yes, warn everyone (although I would think the FB rating would be a warning itself).
if the seller has done horrible business with LLWes before, wouldn't it be his fault for going back and trusting the seller again?
If the seller has 99.5% FB or above with hundreds or more of successful transactions, i see no reason to drag his/her name in the mud over one bad transaction.
i'm not trying to start a huge debate here but the OP's post was "paid on this date, no response to emails" with no other supporting evidence that this was a COMPLETE disaster of a transaction.
did i ramble too much or does this make sense?

Not really sure what you're getting at. This is my first transaction with the seller and in the past two weeks they have received negatives from two others as well as a positive detailing lack of communication. My purchase was made before there were any negatives. In any case I'm just letting people know that this seller didn't come through. If you want to buy from them be my guest.

The bolded information, I believe, is important when you are going out a seller. Again, it wasn't a personal attack Wes, I just think it was a lazy post (your first one). I now agree with your first post but I probably would not have said anything if you mentioned in your first post what you mentioned here.

I suppose that speaks more to my credibility or lackthereof in your eyes. I don't mean that you were being insulting or that you were in any way wrong but just that you don't know me well enough to know that I'm not the type to create misinformation.
markakis8 said:ok, i apologize then. again, my post wasn't intended to discredit you in anyway, yet to enlighten you on the fact that, based soley on your first post, there was on vital information as to why this seller was to be avoided, just simply a post stating when you paid and no contact from the seller.
i think if you are going to out a seller (and at this point you were justified in doing so), there should be more of an explanation as to why you are doing it so readers like me understand.i'm sure there are many people here that trust you but this site is growing every day with more and more users and a seller should be given the benefit of the doubt until otherwise proven guilty (like you have done already). does that make sense?
