Those of you who don't like reading ebay issues, feel free to leave now. Just block ltrainor10 as a seller.

Vent begins...

This seller had TWO Lars Anderson Xfractors up for auction 3 weeks ago with the BIN/BO.
I sent an offer for both, that he agreed to, and asked to do it off of ebay through paypal to save fees. I obliged and sent the payment, asking him to pull the auction. For the record, it was (2) BGS 9.5 Xfractors for $205 dlvd. I got a refund the next night because he "sold one on ebay".

The auction ended, without the second one selling, and the second of two copies had been listed twice with a BIN/BO, each time failing to sell.

Fast forward to August 24, where I receive an email from him saying that he still has the card, and will sell it for $110. I saw that it was listed via auction, so I declined and said that I may bid.

Fast forward to this morning:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0447855266

Pay within the first hour of it closing. This afternoon I get this message:

Dear baseballguy350,

This item was listed twice by accident... Card is no longer available
- ltrainor10

He only had one item listed during this time, so it's not like he has a huge inventory to manage. I then receive a request to cancel this transaction, let him know that his chain of emails and timeline does not help his credibility, or his lies, and decline the request.

I sent the seller an email stating I would like the card, or I would leave negative feedback. Received a paypal refund this evening, and promptly left a negative.

I bet we see this card up for auction again soon.

Venting over...

Morale of the story - Try to make an extra dollar after you already agree on a deal, and then back out, and you will likely lose in the end.

You were way more patient and understanding than I would have been. I would have pushed the issue much harder, but at least the neg is some sort of retribution.

I wonder what he's going to do about the white maybin bowman auto bgs 9 that just sold for 52ish.... I sold it to him for $175 (i bought it for $125). I almost bid on it but wasnt around when it ended and didnt put a snipe in. That wouldve been like short selling a card. :D BTW, had no prob with him as a buyer.

I was debating bidding on that as well. I probably wouldn't have received it either. It's a shame that a negative will just get buried, and nothing will ever happen about it.
