This weekend I received some horrible news. My oldest and best friend passed away in his sleep from a stroke at the age of 32. This is make the third of my four closest friends to have passed away recently, and I am feeling beyond broken inside.

The saddest part of this so far isnt just the fact that I have lost a dear friend of 20 of my 30 years alive, but its also the fact that his family is unable to afford a funeral service for him and that he is going to be cremated and tucked away in a jar.

I was waiting to sell some of my cards to pay for a vacation, but this matters so much more than that.

I havent got much lately these days, but here it is (scans will have to come later) - I havent looked up much lately so I am not firm on prices, but I can looking into them for people that are interested.

I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, and wish you and his family comfort in the tough days ahead. If you have a scan of the Harper, I'll take a look.

Update:

So far its looking like most if not all of the costs are covered. A strong collection from friends and family have come together and are taking care of things.

As for myself, I am still trying to act like things are normal. Go to work, come on the boards, go to the gym, do what I would normally do with my day...at least it helps my fiancee think I am doing ok. In truth, I think I am doing ok...the best I can anyway.
