Most of the experience I have with graded cards is what I've submitted from my PC via the group BGS sub. I have bought a couple of PSA 10 Oleruds from eBay in the past though, and one of them (a 1990 Topps Traded) had a pretty clear blue printing line across it. Another PSA 10 Olerud Upper Deck RC I once saw for sale also had a dark blue printing line on the front. To me these are not Gem Mint.
So my very limited sample size leads me to believe that BGS is stricter, or just has different guidelines. Either way I prefer BGS.
Also, regarding PSA's qualifiers. Either a card is centered or it's not. Period. A card can't be "Mint OC" in my opinion. (End of mini-rant.
