New collectors missed some good stuff in the late 90s/early 00s and a lot of folks who were around either have forgotten or never came across some of it because there was so much stuff being pumped out. I know that if Garvey wasn't in a set, I was not paying attention and i missed out on some cool stuff I have selectively gone back and picked up later (mostly auto items).

those are cool. so many things you all show I didn't know even existed.

very true! in the 90's up to his retirement I was so wrapped up in griffey I didnt pay attention to much else. So many things I wish I had started back then
