How serious are these labor issues in the NFL and how much of a chance is there that we don't have NFL football in 2011? Sorry if this is an ignorent question I just really don't know much about the issue. Thanks for any input on this in advance.

Nothing personal and don't take this the wrong way as it's not intended in a negative tone, but how old are you? Just been kinda curious.

As Chris said, I think it's very likely.

One complicating factor is that the Players' Union has a new chief who is going to try and send a statement to the owners. And Goodell doesn't seem like a guy who responds well to that kind of thing. Plus, some of the wealthier owners want to dump the revenue sharing system that has worked great for 50 years and the owners still get some of their TV money, even if there are no games.

Well at least we'll still have college football. Perhaps they will extend the season and make a playoff system to crown the National Champion. ;)

It's looming enough for a lockout that many underclassmen declared eligible for this year's draft instead of staying as a senior in college because of the possibility that there would no season in 2011 for them to get drafted to.

NFL Network is now airing Arena Football League games...so that's something to look forward to.
