A steal is generally considered if you get something at half the market value. Jeff I researched every card and without grading or overvaluing anything, ebay value is over 11k. With a few nice grades a few k more. I buy and evaluate collections all the time. I almost never overvalue.

You said steal so my guess will be $4000

Updated guess would be $4400 but if you paid more than $4500 its no steal would be market rate at that point.
