Which sets would have faired better in the hobby if "something" would have been added to it?

For instance, even though 2001 heritage didn't need them initially, imagine how much better it would have been if Pujols and ichiro rookies would have been included, especially in chrome inserts.

Or how better the 1986 topps set would have been if canseco had a card or if all tiffany parallels would have been inserts in 80s base topps instead of stand alone.

Nothing major, but a Piazza UD or Topps RC in '92 would've been super cool. Even a Donruss Rated Rookie in the base set would've been solid.

2010 Topps Chrome could have been really solid if the presses weren't cranked to a ridiculous degree and the cards weren't make out of toilet paper tubes.

In retrospect, it wound up not mattering, but at the time I really wished that 1990 Leaf would have featured a Juan Gonzalez card.

you can probably say this about most sets--that on-card autos beat sticker autos--but I think in the case of some of the classic GU sets, like 2005 prime patches portraits and 2004/5 Absolute TOTT, on card autos would have been very very sick

2001 BChrome Ichiro Auto

George mentioned it , but 93 Finest Jeter (and it didn't pop into my head til he mentioned it but the 94 Finest ARod too, actually any 94 Topps Products)

And Will Clark / Barry Larkin 1985 Topps USA cards

I'd also love to see Ultimate Collection or Exquisite w/RC's of Price, Longo, Kemp, Kershaw, McCutcheon, etc. The 'RC' label thing has put a damper on a lot of "what if's", RC card wise.

For me personally I would have loved a Kirby Puckett 1984 Topps Traded card.
